We do our best to list the correct gauge in each product description. Most new piercings start at 22–20 gauge, while the average nose stud is 20 gauge. We’re updating our sizing to match the standard gauge chart.

Quick tip: The gauge size refers to the thickness of the bar that goes through your piercing. The thicker the bar, the lower the gauge number. For example, a 14g bar is much thicker than a 22g bar.
